About Deborah Baker
I began my competitive bodybuilding journey in 2014 and stepped on stage for the first time in 2016.
Over the course of my career, I earned multiple Overall Champion titles across Women’s Physique and Figure divisions, building a reputation for strong structure, polished presentation, and commanding stage presence.
Bodybuilding shaped me in many ways. It taught me discipline, resilience, and what it truly takes to build a physique at a high level.
But it also showed me the importance of balance, longevity, and health - especially for women.
After nearly a decade in the sport, I retired from competitive bodybuilding in 2022. While I will always respect and love the stage, my focus evolved.
Today, I coach women who want to build strong, athletic, confident physiques: whether that’s stepping on stage, returning after time away, or simply training to feel powerful in their own skin.
My approach is health-first and performance-driven, prioritising hormones, recovery, mindset, and long-term sustainability alongside aesthetics.
Alongside coaching, I run a specialist posing service (Posing By DB), working with athletes across multiple federations to refine their stage presence, confidence, and technical execution. Because building the physique is only part of the equation. Knowing how to present it is what separates good from exceptional.
With firsthand experience as a competitor, coach, and judge, I bring empathy, precision, and an expert eye for detail to every woman I work with. I understand federation criteria, proportion, balance, and presentation, but most importantly, I understand the person behind the physique.
My mission is simple:
To help you build a body you’re proud of, help you pose (if that's your goal) with confidence and authority, and do it in a way that supports your health for the long term.
